Step 1: Account Setup
Before renting a fleet, ensure that you have created your account at based.staratlas.com. During the account creation process, you will select your faction and set your username. Most users will have this step completed prior to renting
Step 2: Navigate to the Fleet Rentals Section
- Open your web browser and go to play.staratlas.com.
- In the side navigation bar, click on the Fleet Rentals icon to access the rental marketplace.
Step 3: Browse Available Fleets
Within the Fleet Rentals section, navigate to the Fleets Available to Borrow area. Here you can view all fleets currently available for your faction. This listing provides essential information about each fleet, including the ships contained, their condition, and other operational details.
Step 4: Evaluate Your Fleet Options

- You can rent a fleet for up to 24 days
- Remember, you have the flexibility to cancel at any time and receive a prorated refund based on the remaining days.
Step 6: Confirm Your Rental
Once you have selected the appropriate fleet and rental duration, click the Rent Fleet button. Upon confirmation, the following will occur:
- The full rental amount is paid upfront and held in escrow.
- The fleet is temporarily transferred under your account control, enabling you to start using it in SAGE immediately.
