Which NFT wallet should I use?

Star Atlas does not create or maintain wallets directly but does recommend Solana-compatible wallets including Torus wallet.

There are many factors you should consider when choosing your NFT wallet including security, ease of use, and compatibility. Star Atlas recommends using Torus, a non-custodial, distributed, and open-source key management network. Another recommended wallet is Phantom which includes ledger support.

NFT Wallet Considerations

Security

A wallet with strong security should offer features such as two-factor authentication and robust encryption. These features add an extra layer of protection to prevent hackers from accessing your account and protect your data from malicious third parties.

Ease of Use

While often overlooked, an NFT wallet with a user-friendly interface makes buying and selling NFTs a more seamless and hassle-free experience.

Cross-Chain Compatibility

A wallet that supports multiple blockchains lets you store NFTs from different blockchains. The more, the merrier.

Multiple Device Support

An NFT wallet that supports cross-device use makes storing your NFTs a seamless experience. Want something even better? Get a wallet that runs on two devices while enabling real-time synchronization of transactions.

NFT Marketplace Compatibility

Your NFT wallet should support the marketplace where you want to mint, buy or sell NFTs. Otherwise, you won't be able to make any transactions.

Credit/Debit Card Support

Not all wallets offer this feature. If you're used to making direct payments from a debit or credit card, this is a feature to look for in an NFT wallet.

Bank Withdrawal

Unfortunately, withdrawing funds directly from a bank account is not supported by all NFT wallets. Be on the lookout for this feature if it's something you want from a wallet.
