      What are Starbases in Holosim?

      Starbases are key locations in Holosim where you manage your fleets, resources, and progression. Every faction starts with a Central Space Station (CSS), and additional Starbases can be found throughout the map.

      Types of bases:

      1. Central Space Station (CSS)

        • Your main hub.

        • Provides access to all features, including crafting and fleet management.

      2. Faction Safe Zone Starbases

        • Located within your faction’s protected region.

        • Safer for new players to mine, transport, and grow.

      3. Medium Risk Zone Starbases

        • Found outside faction safe zones.

        • Offer richer resources but come with the risk of enemy encounters.

      What you can do at bases:

      • Hangar: dock fleets, create or disband them.

      • Crafting: build components, upgrade bases, or create ships.

      • Inventory: manage your stored items and resources.

      • Crew: check your available crew and assign them to fleets.

      • Market: trade resources and items.

      • Details: view information about the base, including which resources are available there.

      Bases are essential to expanding your operations. As you progress, upgrading bases outside your CSS becomes important for crafting higher-tier items and strengthening your faction’s presence.
