PVP in Star Atlas stands for POLIS Voting Power. It’s the measurement of your influence in the Star Atlas DAO, the decentralized governance system that lets players shape the future of the ecosystem.

What Is POLIS Voting Power (PVP)?

PVP is earned by locking POLIS tokens in the POLIS Locker. The amount of PVP you receive depends on:

• How much POLIS you lock

• How long you lock it for

The longer the lock duration (up to 5 years), the more PVP you receive per POLIS. For example, locking 100 POLIS for 5 years gives you 500 PVP. PVP linearly decays as the lock approaches expiration.

What Can You Do with PVP?

• Vote on DAO proposals that guide game development, treasury usage, and ecosystem decisions.
