How It Works – Step by Step
Step 1: Lock ATLAS
Choose the amount of ATLAS you want to lock.
Locking more ATLAS unlocks bigger Marketplace fee discounts.
You’ll start earning daily POLIS rewards automatically.
Step 2: Earn Daily POLIS Rewards
POLIS is distributed daily to lockers based on how much ATLAS you have locked relative to others.
Emissions follow a declining curve over 8 years.
Emission Curve Summary:
Start (2022): 4,320 POLIS/day
End (2030): 2,620 POLIS/day
Step 3: Get Marketplace Fee Discounts
Your Locker Tier determines your seller fee discount on the marketplace and in Sage Local Marketplace:

How Your POLIS Rewards Are Calculated
Formula:(Your Locked ATLAS / Total Locked ATLAS) × Daily POLIS Emission
Example:
If 4,000 POLIS are emitted today
And you have 1,000 ATLAS locked out of 1,000,000 total:
→ You earn(1,000 / 1,000,000) × 4,000 = 4 POLIS
Key Locker Terms & Metrics
Circulating Supply: Publicly available ATLAS (excludes vesting & emissions reserves).
Total Supply: Total amount of ATLAS in existence.
Total Locked: Total ATLAS locked by all users.
Next Daily Reward Drop: The total POLIS reward pool for the next emission cycle.
Average Marketplace Fee Reduction:
The average fee discount across all lockers—this gives insight into how much sellers are typically saving through ATLAS locking.
