When listing or browsing fleets on the Fleet Rental platform, you’ll see a set of Fleet Scores attached to each listing. These scores are designed to help lenders understand the strength of their fleet and borrowers quickly compare fleet capabilities before renting.
What Do the Scores Mean?
There are four key scores that measure your fleet’s potential in different roles across SAGE gameplay:
Mining Score
Represents your fleet’s efficiency in extracting resources.
Calculated using:
Mining rate
Cargo capacity
Ammo capacity
Ammo consumption rate
Fuel required to exit planet
Subwarp fuel consumption rate
Scanning Score
Estimates your fleet’s scanning and data-gathering ability.
Based on:
Subwarp speed
SDUs per scan
Cargo capacity
Scan cooldown
Subwarp fuel + warp fuel consumption
Scan cost
Cargo Score
Indicates how well your fleet handles transportation and logistics.
Uses:
Subwarp speed
Max warp distance
Cargo capacity
Fuel consumption (subwarp and warp)
Fleet Size
This is a measure of your fleet’s scale and power, calculated as:
Sum of (Ship Count × Ship Class^5)
Ship Classes range from 1 (XX-Small) to 9 (Titan). Higher-class ships weigh more heavily in the score.
Why Do These Scores Matter?
For Lenders: Helps understand the strengths of your fleet at a glance.
For Borrowers: Enables quick comparison of fleet utility before renting.
For the Game: May influence performance or earnings in SAGE depending on gameplay mechanics.
