What steps can I take to make sure my referral is tracked?

To ensure you receive credit and rewards from the Starpath referral program, it’s essential that your referee follows your referral link properly before making their first purchase on the Star Atlas Marketplace.

Here are a few things you and your referee can do to avoid tracking issues:

1. Share the Full and Correct Referral Link

Double-check that you’re sharing your unique Starpath link (not just the website). You can copy it from your Star Atlas player profile.

2. Clear Browser Cache if Needed

If a referee previously clicked someone else’s referral link, browser storage may still associate their wallet with that prior referrer.

Ask them to clear their browser cache before using your link to ensure the correct referral is tracked.
⚠️ Important: If the referee has already made a purchase while connected to another referral, this cannot be changed even after clearing cache or switching links. The referral is permanently tied to the first purchase made on that wallet.

3. Use a New Wallet (If Previously Linked)

Once a referral link is used and a purchase is made, that wallet is permanently tied to the original referrer. To switch referrers, the user must create or use a different wallet and visit the referral link again before purchasing.

4. Avoid Creating a Link Before Purchase

If your referee sets up their own Starpath link before making a purchase, they’ll be treated as a referrer not a referral. This disqualifies them from being counted under your link
