C4 PTR is a test environment where players can access the latest SAGE C4 experience, create a test profile, import provided PTR assets, and begin exploring the Galia Expanse.
This guide will walk you through the first steps needed to enter C4 PTR, create your character, and import your starting assets.
Important: PTR assets and wallet information are provided for testing purposes only. They are not real assets.
Step 1: Open SAGE
To get started:
- Open your web browser.
- Go to https://sage.staratlas.com.

Click Play Game.
- Read through and accept the terms.

Click Continue.
Step 2: Create your C4 PTR profile
After accepting the terms, you will need to create your PTR profile.
To create your profile:
- Select your faction.
- Set your character name / callsign.
- Make sure the SOL balance is less than 10. The default value of 5 is enough for PTR.

Click Create Profile.
Once your profile is created, you will be taken to the main map.
Step 3: Do not worry if the map feels overwhelming
After creating your profile, you will arrive on the main map of Galia.
The Galia Expanse can feel overwhelming at first, but you do not need to understand everything immediately. C4 PTR is meant to be explored step by step.

Step 4: Import your starting assets
Before you can start using your ships and resources, you need to import your assets into the game.
In PTR, these assets are provided to you for testing.
To start importing assets:

Look for the Port of Entry in the bottom-right corner of the map.
- Click the Port of Entry.

Open the import interface.
The import process in PTR is expected to be similar to the mainnet process, although C4 PTR remains a test environment and may change over time.
Step 5: Transfer your assets into the game
Once you are in the import interface:

Click MAX on the right side of each item you want to import.

Click Deposit next to each item.

The selected items will move into the manifest on the right side of the screen.
- Review the manifest.
- Click Transfer Manifest at the top of the manifest box.
After the transfer is complete, your assets will be imported into your faction CSS.
The CSS is the only base that has a Port of Entry for import and export.
